Christmas cactus flower or "Reina de Noche"
This is my mother's favorite flower, it was her joy and pride. She took the time last year to count the flowers and buttons of the plant: more than two hundred! In the big pot.
The colours are so amazing when you see them in person. The fuchsias and the red are so vibrant, no picture can capture them as we see them with the eye.
In honour of her legacy (not just the plant of course!), I will try to make them in silver, I need to learn casting and get the Rhinogold software, and learn how to use the enamel.
I thought about making a set of earrings, pendant and ring, I have no idea where to start!
Here is a picture so you can have an idea of the flower.
Love to all.
